Justin Jefferson is the 43rd ranked WRer right now....Addison is 103rd. I thought the 'surround' was supposed to make the difference for Murray? The organization? Well I'll say JJ was judged on a team last year decimated with injuries. No excuses IMO. Murray was supposed to be a vet that wouldn't make the mistakes JJM did and would be much more accurate. The run game has been better than last year to help a QB. Not seeing it from Kyler yet, but I have to hope that gets better. This is the bed KOC made, now we all get to sleep in it as fans. I'm ok with the small ball, stacking completions game but where are the TDs? Redzone efficiency? Where is the dynamic offense? 👀
Like I said, have to hope it gets better. 🤞

Makes you wonder what they did during the bye. After the offense showing improvement in every game prior, it appears we may have taken a step back in this one. Kyler had some good moments, but whoever said he's not stringing these moments together nailed it. But it's not just him; it's the whole offense. It just seems out of sync. I don't think it continues all year, but now I'm kinda worried that it just might.
It kinda makes me wonder if we're trying too hard to be this 1971 offense, where we play under control and don't turn the ball over so our defense can win the game. That might work against the Dolphins, Saints and Colts, but it's not going to work against the teams we have coming up.
Anyway, hats off to that defense. Jesus.

That's the thing about good defense. It has 11 dimensions (or 12 if you include BFlo). A star QB can have bad days or get hurt and it completely changes your ability to compete. A good defense is typically much more dependable week in, week out.
