its a slightly tweaked hammy, ( if it was more than that they wouldnt have said he could be back monday already) most anybody that has played has tweaked a hammy at one time or the other and knows the severity of the pain( like I mentioned, I tore mine severly enough that I had blood pooling under my skin and it took over a year before it felt normal again and got up and walked off the field)... his reaction was ridiculous and ridicule is what he deserves for the theatrics he put on display.

I need to see him accomplish something before I would agree on the later part, so far all I've seen is a goofy puss, will be interesting to see if he crumbles under the public ridicule or if he steps up right away, I dont recall him handling scrutiny all that well in college.

People saying this a year ago were few and far between, and not all that bright. Williams is already a good QB with the potential to be great. He also looks like a bozo after this past weekend I think both can be true. Paul Pierce is a Hall of Famer who's wheelchair meme will long outlive his gametape.

I shouldnt be so harsh, but they way he carried on had most people thinking the worst for him, and then to find out it was nothing more than what it was..... that is pretty damn weak, and then the people coming out in defense of his over reaction is comical at best.

Caleb is being teased....what cracks me up the hardest are the Chicago softy fans/media online crying about how mean it is. Hell, JJM had that meme created about him and that was a victory, lol. Almost everyone takes their turn getting roasted online. This is going to be a tough one for Williams as its going to last a long time, especially if he starts losing some games. Have to grow some thick skin. Tom Brady too, getting teased about how much swearing/yelling he's been doing during games lately lol:

Well to cry like that on the field, get helped off like he lost his leg, then get carted off with your arm up like you will miss the rest of the season, to only have it be a very mild strained hamstring... Not sure how anyone can think he won't get roasted.

So what you are saying is you have not watched him play at all. And you certainly did not see his amazing performance in the playoffs last year, carrying them over the Packers and almost beating the Rams with one of the best plays ever made in NFL history.

I am not sure how you are questioning how he handles any scrutiny when he has been one of the highest scrutinized players in the league and think he has handled it quite well. He paints his nails and hugs his mom after a game and the has everyone hating on him for it, yet half the league wears ear rings and necklaces during games. Just beyond ridiculous the unfair criticism he has faced and he has been all class about it and it has not affected his play in any way.

Regarding the injury, once again, you have no idea what it is going on with it. The Bears are not going to provide all the information either way just as we did not last week with Murray. I love the kid, watched every game he played in college. USC had a horrible OL where he took a beating and kept gutting it out, he is an extremely tough kid and I have watched him play through numerous injuries. Remember one specific game of him playing on one leg all game.

Ive never said shit about his goofy habits, besides hes goofy. He got his ass pounded in college because he played hero ball to often, ran around looking for home runs instead of taking what the defense gave him on the 3 or 4 games I watched of his.

If he was hurt as bad as he was carrying on after he went down, he would have been on IR already to get the clock started for his potential return IMO.

Im sticking by my previous statements, kid is soft.

And about the only redeeming thing I have seen from him is his open affection for his mother, thats nothing to shame him for, unlike his display on Sunday.

Dont make it personal, he likes the kid and is defending him, nothing wrong with seeing things differently as long as we can remain civil in doing so.

To be perfectly honest, I wanted to like him, when he started making posts about wanting to come to MN I was intrigued. A Heisman hopeful that actually wanted to be a Viking...thats when I started paying closer attention to the hype, but honestly I saw the potential, but ai never could get past my gut feeling that he wasn't going to be mentally strong enough and I saw that from him in college and expect to see the same as a pro, I mean ai understand the emotional part is partially his desire to win, but he didn't seem to handle adversity well, 1 tough loss led to poor play the next week too.

Hes got potential talent, but i am still thinking we aren't going to be playing the what could have been game with this guy in a few years.
