What an incredibly stupid pick. Emmett Johnson and Claiborne sitting there for the taking and they grab a FB/TE hybrid?

I'd prefer Riley Nowakowski who does the same thing and could be had in the 7th or UDFA. Ugh.

You guys will see. I'm cool with all opinions but trust me, you'll happily look back at how wrong the take is and be happy about it. Started a thread about it even.

Wowza do I disagree...there was no one on the roster to replace CJ Ham. Now there is

Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.

I dont know much about the player, but I am a little surprised they are continuing to keep a FB on the roster...Never heard KOC talk about the need to fill that position once Ham retired. But that doesn't mean he was opposed to it either.

Not a huge deal either way...These guys getting drafted this late are very much long-shots, if you hit on one? Great.

Well they got their fullback and one of the running backs you wanted. Looking like a pretty solid draft all the way around.

Very happy they got Claiborne. They still whiffed on Center and WR and took Banks too high instead of trading down.

Compared to the last two previous drafts, I think Brez, KOC and Flo did a great job addressing the team's needs...

Lots of talk the Chiefs were trying to move up for Banks in the 20's. Vikings may have had some intel inside on that one.

I am happy about Claiborne too, but I'll temper my enthusiasm about any of these later picks that are longer-shots to make an NFL squad.

Going below that bar would result in spinal surgery.
