2026 Free Agency and Draft: Safety
Emmanuel McNiel-Warren (EMW) forced 11 fumbles during his time at Toledo. Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez had 13. Both are experts at the "peanut punch." And there's a chance we could draft both. EMW is considered a late 1st rounder, Rodriguez a middle 2nd rounder.

Toledo S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren is one of the more intriguing safeties in this class because of how easy he moves at his size. He’s a smooth, controlled athlete with good footwork and fluid hips, which show up when he’s asked to match up with tight ends or carry routes over the… pic.twitter.com/lIiXSEdNIv

Day three safety no one is talking about....
Dalton Johnson, Arizona (5-11, 192, 4.45)
Said one scout: “He’s been on the steady rise for about the last two years. He’s Day 2 to early Day 3. He has the ability to move out and play big nickel. He’s tough enough and he’s got range, and he’s smart enough to get everybody lined up. Long-term, I’m not sure I’d go with the kid from Toledo (McNeil-Warren) over him.”

Swing a dead cat and you’ll hit a safety prospect worth considering.

Sounds a lot like Metellus who was underrated and went early Day 3.
I like EMW, but he looks more like a box safety than a guy who can be an asset in stopping the run but also cover deep. I just get Lewis Cine vibes...

Here's a hot take. Has Dillon Thieneman #1 overall.
The great @JoeGoodberry has Dillon Thieneman as his No. 1 player in this class.

Hope he is an option for Dallas at 12. pic.twitter.com/mbTvY5R4yJ
