Udinski, who was a finalist in Cleveland, is still in play for Buffalo.

Given a choice between Shedeur Sanders and Josh Allen......

Udinski is no where near ready to be a HC, he is one year removed from being an assistant QB coach.  I would say there is no way it could happen, however after seeing the Buffalo circus of a press conference, nothing would surprise me with that dysfunctional organization.

Thats whats open right now correct? Bills and Raiders are very desirable jobs imo, for very different reasons too.

And then there were 3...

3 lowly franchises

I think Brady is a good hire. That was my 1A choice if we had moved off OConnell. And his last name is Brady, how could you go wrong?

I do too....I think he did a great job marrying Cook with what Allen and the TE's brought to that offense. Very balanced.

Brady's offense > OConnells offense

But I get the gist...KOC may never have the same balance on offense as Buffalo. I think you really got to look at what the MN offense could do/be by watching what McVey does with a QB with the tools of Stafford.

Another 10 seconds on the clock this past Sunday and they might be playing vs Pats in Santa Clara.

One is being ran by an MVP and a top player in this league. The other ran the offense at the age of 22. Not comparable.

Ravens OC Monken as the new Browns HC. Down to 2.

The Broncos fired their offensive coordinator, receivers coach, and cornerbacks coach. And all we did was fire the o-line coach who became the scapegoat for KOC's playcalling and stagnant offense. Good teams make changes after failed seasons while the Vikings just keep on keeping on. Wilf'ing at its finest

Somebody had to take that shit job....Monken, never a HC, is going to be 60 years old in a week. Not the trend and tells you everything you need to know about what candidates thought about that opportunity. McCarthy in Pittsburgh is 62 but has a record of success in both Green Bay and Dallas. Two different things.

Who wouldn't want to work with a young Pro Bowl QB (Sanders)....lol.

They also cultivate quality, successful NFL asst. coaches like Udinski and Daronte Jones...Individuals who are coveted in the league and promoted to leave.

And while we make fun of culture, it's something most orgs covet and dont do nearly as well as the coaches & trainers in Eagan. It's not a replacement for winning, but it sure helps when you are doing well at it.

Look, I also wanted to see the ST Coach go. Beyond that and OL? That might have been a stretch. Ok, maybe QB too. But I suspect he was kept here in part because of the feed-back from that QB room.

In my opinion, changes to the front office should have absolutely been made. Hearing that they are sticking to the status quo is infuriating. OConnell's playcalling/gameplanning and his refusal to run the football is the #1 issue with the offense, but cases could have absolutely been made to fire McCown and Phillips.
