Finding a new home for Jalen Ramsey has finally come to fruition.

The Dolphins are trading the three-time All-Pro cornerback to the Steelers, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Monday.

Pittsburgh is adjusting Ramsey's contract as part of the acquisition, giving him a $1.5 million raise and making his salary this season $26.6 million, per Rapoport and Pelissero.

Rapoport and Pelissero had reported on April 15 that Miami and Ramsey mutually agreed to explore trade options. The draft came and went, as did organized team activities and mandatory minicamp -- which Ramsey didn't attend -- without a move.

One has now transpired on the final day of June -- less than a year after Ramsey signed a three-year extension to stay in South Beach.

fitting that they seem to be collecting malcontents.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Steelers raising their hands, attempting a little run and saying dont forget about us in the AFC...They've clearly been tier 2 in that conference for some time now.

Makes sense. What would be the point in bringing Rodgers in if they aren’t going for a little run?

Weird trade, Fitzpatrick seemed to be a big part of their secondary. I actually think the biggest impact of the trade was the Dolphins including their TE Jonnu Smith for a late round pick. He is really underrated TE who was probably their best offensive threat last year with 88 catches, would have loved him in our offense for a late pick.

They definitely need decent targets for Rodgers now that they let Pickens go.

I’m trying to imagine how happy TJ Watt is after seeing Ramsey getting a pay bump without ever playing a snap.

And right on cue, because the Steelers have traded for Ramsey and signed a QB that will be 42 years old yet this year, they are now 'really good'. ;)
