I would put Wright in but at least he admitted he was wrong about the Timberwolves. Last season he had the Vikings lower than the Packers for most of the season.

Smith
Sharpe
Cowherd - has the Vikings in 4th in the division and missing the playoffs.

Buck, SAS, and Whitlock. Take Shady McCoy and Chase Daniels too while you're at it.

I have seen Smith in person several times, he is nothing like his TV personality. One time was on the same flight, long delay it was well past midnight, everyone getting cranky and rushing to board once they start, Smith goes up lady in wheelchair who was getting pushed around a little to make sure she is okay and then proceeds to make sure she gets to the gate okay and what really stood out was the soft spoken, loving way he spoke to her. Good for him for creating this TV persona that has helped get him a 20 million dollar deal. Muhammed Ali did the same. These guys are their own company and have marketing people who guide them in terms of creating a persona that will sell.

I am not a Smith guy at all. This is exactly right though. His act sells. Once you start to see that the villain character is making you money, you play on that. You keep that up until you master it. It's all about the money.

They are all actors. Straight up. Rage bait masters and their personal side and professional side are two very different personalities. Engagement is all they care about, good or bad. Contrived. There is nothing reality based, its all scripted and carefully cultivated.
