It seems like an assumption that we have to win our last 3 to win the division, but is that really the case?  Are the Lions a slam dunk to win their next 2?  First at the Bears, a team they were very fortunate to win against at home a few weeks ago.  Their defense has had more injuries since that game and Caleb Williams continues to get more experience.  The Bears fans had high expectations coming into the season and here is a chance for them to create a bright spot with beating the Lions at home.  Then a Monday night game at SF, the 49ers despite their record are always a capable of having a lights out game, another team looking create to a positive end to their season and in their last home game.  It is not out of the possibility of the Vikes entering Ford Field with the division already won.  In case you are wondering, I haven't been overdosing on the eggnog  :D

I like it JR!

Keep on chugging bros....

Honestly, I think people are discounting the Lions too much and too soon.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Caleb is getting more experience...running in circles and refusing to throw.

Both Glasgow and Ragnow were non-participants in practice this week. The middle of that line--along with David Montgomery, who is also out--is their tough yards bread and butter. If those two sit, I could see Chicago stealing this one at home.

Be nice if we could put Detroit into a little bit of desperation mode, needing a win in San Francisco next week to keep their division title hopes alive.

Their remaining schedule looks remarkably easy vs ours...

I will be delighted (and surprised) if that wk 18 game vs us will be meaningful for them.

We can talk about the Lions, but I’m more worried about going to Philly. I think within the NFC North, home field advantage probably means a lot less, but if we have to play Philly, I’d rather them come here. I don't think I'm ready to assume that both Detroit and Philly lay some eggs to end the season.

For sure...I've had Philly as my #1 team in the conference as Lions attrition list has grown.

I would rank Philly and Rams as the most difficult match-ups for us vs how we are currently built.

I believe if we ended-up with the 5 seed, we would be playing at SoFi that first week.

But you know...Ive already considered this season a win from an entertainment/beat my fan expectations. I'm at peace lol!

Agreed.

Just for everyone's reference.  #5 spot will be playing the worst of the 4 division winners, which would be the Buccaneers right now, but I could easily see them swapping spots.

Oh it will be meaningful since they'll be fighting for the 5th seed.
