Did you by chance see the Georgia-Georgia Tech game last night?  What a slugfest, and what a captivating, edge of your seat game.
This instant classic thriller makes me wonder if this NFL OT rule would work in the NFL.

Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.

I agree 8 OTs is dumb. They should have 2 OTs then use the shootout rule that the NHL does except have the kickers do a kickoff. Start at the 30 yard line and keep moving back 5 yards every time, first one to miss loses the game.

Good fun game, but I think 8 OTs is silly. Just begging for exhaustion related injuries. Need to have a better solution than the current format, IMO.
