Official Yes or No thread
You in or out? Looks like the rumor is that Indy IS in reset mode....
After trading away his lead blocker, the Colts are officially open for business on trades involving superstar running back Jonathan Taylor.

Indianapolis has seen enough with this core and is pressing the full reset button.
Taylor will likely be on the move within the next week. pic.twitter.com/GP6iGnEgts

Its Indy's most tradable commodity for sure. Will the Colts be fine with Minnesota's 32nd pick in round 1?
We think alike... great minds. I hope they will be because some of the goofus media trade proposals for this guy who, yeah he's good but not THAT good, are like "hey let's do Herschel Walker again!"
My question is, does a really good back finally get Kevin's offense to actually be the allegedly great offense people mistakenly think it is?

For a third and a fifth this year and a second next year. This would be less than the CMC compensation.
Done.

Vikings Oline can pass block, in run blocking they're average . Trading for Taylor doesn't seem to fit with that.
Don't trade JJ.

Yes, would love an elite RB who can stack big plays in a game.
No, he was abused by our pass rush in the last game, gotta have RB that can block.
No, not sure our OL is good enough to create holes for an elite RB, may not move the rush needle very far relative to AJ and Mason.
No, how are Vikes going to pay our starting QB next year and give deserving pay raises to key players on our defense with a new, expensive RB?
Bottom line, No
What starting QB? 🙃

Fair question! I can't identify who will be the starter or who will actually be in the QB room at all... Very sad affair. Either we pay big bucks to sign KM, big bucks to sign a FA veteran QB, make a trade for a veteran QB or draft one requiring trading picks and/or a player or two. I'm not excited by any of these options given the time required to learn KOC's offense. Now if we hired a hotshot OC who gameplans based on QB strengths, the options become far more interesting. JMO.

Yes im saying for depth bc I dont think Jones makes it thru the season. Pollard is a good back on a shitty team with an expiring contract.
If we could get him for a 5 or 6, you do it. They'll want to0 much for JT, if hes even available and his contract is high with the FA we need to bring back, plus finding a QB.
Hes top 10 in YPC on the season and 29.
This is the low buck move I’ve talked about for weeks. The unsexy insurance policy that looks like a genius move once Jones last intact fiber in his left MCL finally snaps like dry spaghetti.
You. Complete. Me.

We need another good 'back, he's definitely up there, but...I wanna see the quote, in ink.

If we can get him for a third or less, multiple third and additional lower draft selections, okay. Not a first or a second. That contract of Taylor's is also very high.
This is where I'm at. He's extremely high mileage and not cheap the next two years. Also not the position you really want to rework a deal for to extend.
I see pros and cons. He's been amazing for the Colts. But I'd also be excited for one of the backup Charger RBs at a cheap price.
