If the offense doesn’t DRAMATICALLY improve starting next week, they will lose every one of these games.
The offense isn't winning these games for us. Keeping opponents to 12.3 pts a game is.
If our D can shut down these 5 teams offenses then all we need is a Brad Johnson type of QB season with TB to win the SB.

Everyone pissed their pants last year over the “historically bad” “unwatchable” offense. I’ll argue it’s actually worse this year.
The only thing keeping the this bus on the road is the fact they’ve been beating up on terrible teams and haven’t lost yet. I’m telling you….one loss and every wheel is falling off and it’s gonna look like the Hindenburg crashing into a train full of orphans.

You guys get the point.

Im.still not sure its not so much Kyler as it is the shit situations he is being put in by the play caller. I feel like we havent run a slant or a screen in 5 yrs.
Our short passes are 5 yards behind the LOS to the short side the field and everyone knows its coming because we put a guy in motion going that way
I've been saying this forever! KOC does NOT know what a slant pass is! Jesus f**k man provide a quick out if pressure comes. Naaaahhhh. That makes too much sense.

Isn't that what we were promised? A standard of QB play that would elevate the offense from the despicable horribleness of McCarthy's passing? I'm looking....

Yeah we would all be stoked if the offense started clicking but most SB teams are heavy on one side of the ball vs the other. Salary cap doesnt allow for studs on all sides unless you get super lucky on the draft retention. Which we OBVIOUSLY have not been during the Kwesi time so IMO we're lucky to have this D. If we had hit on any of our draft picks the previous 4 years we could have been one of those unicorns with studs on both sides but that didnt happen.

We've got Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, TJ Hockenson on offense....and an expensive offensive line. The team is spending more money on offense than defense. Who are the studs on D taking up that salary cap? BFlo is the reason, the scheme...its the hive mentality on defense that wins the day. Not expensive pieces.
Just win baby.
NO, NOT LIKE THAT!!

lol, I hear you but you also know that I said the wins have to come and obviously Murray must be a part of it. You know I was talking about moving on from McCarthy and going with Murray. I mean Bill Murray could have been the QB and we'd be 6-0. But if you're going to call me out, then where is the dynamic aspect and new QB standard that you and MB promised?? Remember the wink wink you guys had going like we all just couldn't grasp it if we didn't have the immediate buy in? 🤔
Like I said, I'm hopeful that breakout game comes for K1. We'll need it with better teams on the schedule. 👍
Bottom line is, we don’t even have to play any better than we are now and have been to go undefeated.
Read that again.
I get it, Every fan wants to watch domination so it’s just savoring the grapes dropped in your mouth without a shred of intrigue, OR reality for that matter

I don’t recall promising anything of the sort.
The surround was there for him to excel. He came from a shit organization into a better run organization. So far Murray has shown brief flashes but the kindling hasn’t lit yet. I’ll bank on him still returning to the mean. 230 passing yards and another 40 on the ground.
But
Cmon, seriously? YOU PROMISED? I hear that from the grandkids when plans change. JFC this fanbase is a trip and a half.
Also, please notice the grace I provide when you take any chance for a thinly veiled shot at me.

Why is the fanbase a trip and a half? I guess I don't get that part? Because some dare question the offensive woes? Do they not exist? What is being said that is troubling to you, I'm seriously asking? I don't see many fans not happy with 6-0, except of course the game day doomers. I do see a few going over the top on JJM, but otherwise?
Thinly veiled shots? C'mon now....its a messageboard, we aren't standing in front of each other, slapping our white gloves in each other's faces and dueling at noon tomorrow. 😉

What are fans going to do if K1 throws for 300+, 2 td's and we still lose in Motown?

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Seems like a pipe dream right now, lol....like how people felt about landing on the moon in the 1940s....
Bottom line is we are 6-0. Kyler and the offense has to be better. Zero doubt. We could very well go 0-4 these next ones. If the defense, as good as they are, gives up a big play and these teams go up by 10. This offense may not recover. We need average QB play. That wasn't it on Sunday.
Vikes are leading the league in scoring margin, according to two sites ive found
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/average-scoring-margin
1 Vikings +8.5 (2025, Vikes were +0.6)
2 Jags +8.3
3 Niners +8.3
4 Bengals +6.8
5 Chiefs +6.7
6 Seahawks +6.1
7 Bears +5.3
8 Bills +4.3
9 Lions +3.2
18 Packers -0.1 (enjoyed throwing that in there)
So, we got that going for us, which is nice

At Kyler's current statistical pace... he's projected to throw for 2300 yard and 9 TDs with 6 INTs...
