If the Vikings somehow get to 8-0 Teasley is gonna be in a difficult spot.
This is the toll of 5 bad drafts-,there's no depth -kwesi

That sounds like the nickname we should've given him before he left and robbed us of the chance. No-Depth Kwesi.

Vikings Get Clean Injury Report Before Colts Game

Last updated 9 hours ago

The Minnesota Vikings released a perfect injury report Thursday ahead of their Week 7 home game against the Indianapolis Colts. Key players like Justin Jefferson (ankle), Jordan Addison (hamstring), Christian Darrisaw (concussion), T.J. Hockenson (concussion), and others all upgraded to full practice participation. Beat writers called it the most positive update possible, crediting the bye week for helping the offense get healthy and build momentum.

Everything seems to be falling into place. Kyler's starting to settle in, the defense is at the top of their game, we get back key players and, with the exception of Jackson and Oliver, we're at full strength. We now get a team who just fired their GM...at home...after a bye...

So you know what that means...Colts by a dozen. lol

You just can't ever be comfortable as a Viking's fan....we've known too much disappointment. But also they won't go 17-0, but hopefully find a win Sunday at home. Get the Ws when you can and go slug it out with the better teams and let the best team take it. 🤘

Here's a simple question:

  • Double down on a strength?

  • Fill a perceived weakness?

It is absolutely this one. Said it to my buddy yesterday.

But, I also said that about the Tampa game too. So, maybe things are in our favor this year. Looking to see Kyler with a big game to build on the NO game.

A non conference loss would be more palatable but, good grief, our D and ST should outscore their O.

That 27 number being already guaranteed will be a hard sell for the Colts

I consider draft picks to be grossly overrated - at least anything past rounds 1 and 2. If I were running a team, my draft focus would always be to maximize picks in those two rounds and I’d almost always stay put unless being given two pick in the same round to move - like 2 2nd rounders for a team to move up in the 2nd for my pick.

I wouldn’t think twice about trading any pick outside those first two rounds for a proven player. It simply comes down to probability. The probability of a 4th rounder working out versus a proven player is not difficult math for me.

If they can get Jonathan Taylor in for a couple 3rd and/or 4th round picks I’d do it immediately and plan for him to be around awhile. With our passing game not where it needs to be to compete for a title, adding someone like Taylor not only boosts the running game, it takes pressure off the passing game as teams have to account for such a dynamic player. I really like our guys now, but they’ve both been banged up and neither impacts defensive coordinators plans like Taylor would. This kind of balance could legit tip the scales to this being a team capable of winning a Super Bowl.

Adding a game changer at RB could also take some pressure off the QB room next season. We have nothing in place as of now. It’s much easier to add a rookie or a Mac Jones (as an example) for not a ton of coin when everything else is taken care of.

Add on the fringes but we need to become far more draft dependent.
