What I most like about KOC’s teams is they never quit. He gets a lot of flack for stuff, but not enough credit for the culture. Grant’s teams had it as well. That is probably what got me hooked on the Vikings as a child. We won’t win them all, but we always have a chance.

The level of disrespect towards KOC is astounding. We do have to respect what Flores has brought to this team as well. I really hope his lawsuit blackballs him and we get to hang onto him as long as possible.

They culture he built is long-term. Campbell's knee biting doesn't work so well when things go wrong.

KOC did have 1 relapse where he called a pass on 3rd and 2 but other than that he ran the ball, let Flores coach the D and hoped Wentz would miss the WRs badly enough that the defenders couldn't catch it either 😏

Anyone still wonder if the Vikings should have hired Jim Harbaugh? He can’t win if he can’t cheat.

So his run-pass differential on first down was — gulp! — 13-6 in favor of the run.

He called more running plays on first down than pass plays in each quarter.

KOC has taken lots of flack about his pass happy offense, and rightly so. I have been doubtful about his "transformation" after hearing the same stuff for a couple of years.

But count me as a believer after yesterday. Sticking with the run when it meant handing it off Deejay Dallas, riding the aging Jones and playing the field position battle. KOC showed me something yesterday. Either he understands the game better or he has hired the right people to keep him focused. That gives me much hope for our team and offense.

I assume the weather and the back up QB played a role in the play calling as well. It's encouraging he is finding ways to win besides the passing game.
