First game in the Bills 2 billion dollar disaster, but it should be a pretty crazy environment.

Lions offensive line is in tatters. An already weak area for them is now missing two more starters. Guessing calls to Taylor Decker's house went unreturned.

Have a feeling there will be some good "home cookin'" by our friends in stripes tonight.

Just to make the Stadium opening more "memorable"

Lions are missing two offensive line starters, the bills should kick the piss out of these guys tonight. We’ll see if that happens.

I was born at a home for unwed mothers in Buffalo, NY in 1961, apparently lived in a foster home for 3 months and was then adopted and ended up in Rochester, MN. My #1 team since I knew what football was has always been the Vikings but for some strange reason, have always considered Buffalo my #2 team (unless you count "whoever is playing the Packers" on any given game). Figures, my two favorite teams have four SB appearances and 0 wins each.... I guess when you start out the way I did, maybe there is no hope, but I will always keep hoping MN does it first! 😜Tonight, I am cheering extra hard for the Bills!

Born in 1961 - Still waiting for just one.... ;)

Wow. It's early, but maybe this game will be a beat down.

Don't trade JJ.

Not sure who thinks Detroit is a Super Bowl contender, but they aren’t. Probably nobody in the NFC North is, maybe Chicago has a way outside shot of it. I’m very worried Minnesota has a QB1 problem.

Bears are a contender I think

Detroit certainly isn't. They haven't recovered from losing Johnson. Plus something is rotten IMO, all the sudden retirements.

That is pretty peculiar. Two successful, not very old offensive linemen retire in back to back seasons, then one un-retires and asks to be released? Weird.

I wrote something about the Lions potential problems a couple weeks ago. Still, I think all four of these teams are pretty evenly matched and any one of them could take the division.

All four teams have good offenses, even though I suspect the Packers and Lions will continue to struggle with their OLs. But here's the thing: there's only one team in this division with a playoff-caliber defense.

True, but the team with the playoff caliber defense might not have a playoff caliber QB. That's my concern.

It wasn't a rousing start, that's for sure. But if he can take a horrible Cardinal team to the playoffs, he can certainly take the Vikings. He might need a few weeks to iron out the wrinkles, but I think once he gets into a groove, we're all going to be very happy.

Hope you are right for sure. I'd like to see Murray ASAP so we can see what we have in the guy.

But conversely, guys like Rex Grossman, Tim Tebow, Blake Bortles, etc. have made playoff appearances. Getting a playoff game doesn't make a QB a playoff level QB. The Vikings have to be able to score points off of traditional drives, not just BFlo induced turnovers. Lots to learn yet, only one game has been played. 👍
