No matter how these last 3 quarters go, I don't want anyone saying we miss Kwesi....

Just to reset: It's Carson Wentz the rest of the way. The Vikings can only use J.J. McCarthy -- the designated No. 3 QB -- if Wentz is unavailable. https://t.co/4EhDAk11mP

Kwesi recently got promoted and they beat the Rams.
Maybe analytics told them to travel early to Australia

Kevin O’Connell says he saw Kyler Murray after the game and says he seemed to be doing well. But O’Connell said he had no update in terms of Murray’s return timetable from this concussion.

Kyler looked...well, like scrambling mediocrity in his tiny game experience.
I don't feel any "victory" in kinda predicting him not starting the whole season, because he's on the Vikings...but, yeah, among the people who called it.
Getting close to Vikings Football time...!!!

Raise your hand if you expected it in the 1st quarter of the first game.
A NFL game is like a play, with acts and scenes....I always laugh when I see posts or tweets early in a game as things usually change dramatically and the polar opposite often takes place given more time. Its usually a roller coaster. X is the king of this, mostly contrived however for engagement by some and just idiotic fans overreacting for others. In my 'Wow' thread, I posted it because Kyler went out already with injuries (just our luck) but didn't mention anything else because I knew how things can change.
A 29 point swing in the limited amount of time it took to do that was unreal. It was like I was watching another game with other teams but wearing Packers and Vikings uniform, that's how different it felt during that swing. 12 points down to win by 17...lmao. 😂

Raise your hand if you said out loud immediately after the hit... " what was your favorite Kyler Murray moment" 🫡

This. If we were to judge everything—QB, line, running game, defense, game plan—by the first few series, you'd have thought the Vikings were going 0-17. But if you've watched any football for any length of time, you know that's just not the way it works, especially in a game defined by changes in momentum.
Dobbs first action saw him take a sack for a safety on his first drive. Strip sack fumble on his 2nd, then settled in and brought the team back to win. Cousins had a nightmarish first half against Indy a few years ago. He took several sacks and threw a pick six. In the first half, he threw for 43 yards and put up a 24.0 passer rating. In the 2nd half he settled down and played incredibly well, throwing for 330 yards and 4 TDs for a passer rating of 123.7.
And yes, the comments on twitter and here were....amusing.

Agree!!
4 quarters is a long-time to play
That olde saying of it aint over till the final whistle blows sure applies to football.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Can't claim that one, but a whole room of family heard me say "holy s**t, exceeded my expectations".
Not proud...but, not terribly ashamed. I knew he'd be in plain clothes on the sideline at some point.

I could not be less surprised than I was yesterday, his playing style does not fit his body type.

Good points from Dr. Chao here. This is Kyler Murray’s 1st career concussion. https://t.co/DCHDUtRkjW

first CONFIRMED career concussion. I dont think anybody can play contact sports their whole lives and get to his age without having had his bell rung a few times.

Which is exactly why I wouldn't play him vs Bears.

I don’t really know, but this feels like it should be a multiple week concussion protocol, rather than a single week concussion protocol. If he came back next week that feels pretty negligent on a lot of parties.
