The Super Bowl Champs have been one of the better drafting franchises for years and rebuilding the roster through the draft post Pete Carroll. Sign me up

Teams have whole scouting departments, national and regional scouts. It all funnels into the GM. They have the on-the-ground eyeball insight....just have to listen to them in context.

I like the Wilfs and think they have done a lot of amazing things for the Vikings and the community, but I do not think there skillset resides in hiring and evaluating football people to run an organization. I like how the Dolphins had brought in Troy Aikman as a consultant and he led their GM search and HC. He is pretty dialed in and think they ended up with two solid hires. Not sure about bringing in some firm to conduct the search.

Like I said, if they are using the same approach and hiring process that yielded them Kwesi...they are even bigger dopes than any of us thought possible. We've done the "diverse professional background" thing already and it imploded horribly (who would have thought?) How about you just hire the best candidate with the most relevant experience to fill the position!? I know thats a wild concept in Wilf bro land, but hoping they can wrap their minds around it this time and learn from their (many) past mistakes.
