Colts tell season ticket holders stop reselling your tickets

Guess the Seahawks did the same thing. Problem is that season tickets are usually the better seats and you can make thousands of dollars selling your tickets over a season. NFL fans are nuts, they'll pay anything to see a game. I get it, you want your home stadium full of home fans for an atmosphere....but when they are such a hot commodity, good luck.

I've even thought about getting on the waitlist for season tickets. I don't live there, nor do I intend to move there, but I'd probably go to 3 or 4 games a year and sell the others. It's a good investment, and if the Vikings turn into a powerhouse over the next couple years, even better.

Im not sure how good the investment ends up being when you factor in PSLs,  the preseason games you pay full price and then give away or burn,  losing a game to over seas, and the eventual team down turns and/or opponents nobody wants to go see.  might be better off with a nice DJ or S&P  index fund.

Justin Jefferson doesn’t play for an index fund. The best investments—season tickets, vacation homes, classic cars, are the kind that enrich your life AND your bank account.

but they do typically return a positive ROI,  I dont know that you will see much of that from season tickets over a long period of time ( especially when you figure that you will want to keep the better selling matchups for yourself as a fan),  but I agree with the rest of what you said as we used to share a package with another family when our kids were younger and there were some great memories.
