They're cutting him with a $25M dead cap hit? Is that right?

Brian Windhorst voice and finger points- "Now why would they do that?"

Pretty funny the lengths reporters will go to in order to carry water for some teams, but if other teams, like say Dallas, had this kind of exodus it'd be 24/7 ragebait articles about how doomed they are.

All funny stuff aside, the 49'ers org has been as close to NFL royalty as there is - going back to Montana to Rice. They have had hella runs.

The Cowboys?

Not so much anymore.

For those that have said "it's only money that talks", it would seem to me that Javon Hargrave disagreed.
The others he mentioned by name on the line "only gonna make my job easier".
And the SKOL chant? Goosebumps, babe. He felt it back then.

Minnesota is a special place, for lots of reasons. We don't need everyone, just the right ones.

Signed players say all kinds of things when they get signed, they know the drill.

But there's zero doubt part of the fun for a player is the home fans and how they react. The Skol Chant is one of the coolest things in a long time to come along that got embraced so enthusiastically by fans and players. And Minnesota is a top tier organization, period. But overwhelmingly money does the talking.
