2026 Free Agency and Draft: CB
#1
Finding it hard to get too excited about this year's CB class, but I do like D'Angelo Ponds. For those concerned about his height, he is EXACTLY the same height as Antoine Winfield Sr: 5-8 and 5/8ths. And this cat can flat play.

I LOVE PONDS, he's a dawg if there ever was one...I wish we could add him and Sarratt both!

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Signing James Pierre just made this less of an issue.  Stoked on that signing.  Kids got skills.

I wonder if BFlo has an interest in post June 1 release CB Nate Hobbs? Another bigger corner, only 26 years old. Some of these corners that don't cut it with other teams can thrive in BFlo's D if they have certain mentalities and abilities. If Minnesota drafts a CB in the first 3 rounds and snags another guy like Hobbs, the room is going to have some great competition and depth. Keep Hobbs in the slot, that's where he's best. GB didn't do that.

I think this CB class is really deep. There should be good corners available well into the fourth round. I had us taking a CB early, but with the Pierre signing, I think we can wait on a CB.

Now I am thinking DT, S, RB, and C. I am very surprised we have shown no interest in the FA safeties. Some good ones have signed really cheap deals. We may regret that soon.
