I think the draft starts at pick 3, 1. williams 2. Daniels.... so what does NE do? I am betting the Giants make some sort of move up and this makes a lot of sense right here, it really only likely costs them their 2nd to move up those few spots and get to take the 3rd QB in a pretty loaded draft, which would likely be a #1 over all in most other years, as long as the Giants arent taking the guy NE wants, they are fine with adding that 2nd dropping back a few. I have my doubts that KAM views Penix or JJM as cant miss guys enough to sell whatever AZ and LA are needing to drop to 11, so we now see a couple WRs come off the board to AZ and LA, NE takes their QB at 6... or is this where KAM jumps up? I would offer this years 11 and next years 1st to NE for the 6th pick, (keeping this years 23) and take

I don't think the Giants are even thinking about moving up. Ed Donatell really did a job on the Giants brass and egos go a long way in NFL managements.

If they are moving up, it's to jump the Chargers to assure they get the receiver they want. I think they want Nabors, but the Chargers also have a huge receiver need and could go in that direction. I'd put the chances of the Giants taking a quarterback somewhere between slim to none. At least not in the 1st round

I keep forgetting about Brock Bowers. Who would want him bad? I can see both the Chargers and Giants. Normally I am no fan of taking a TE really high, but he’s as much a WR as a TE. He could be really dominant in the NFL considering how easy he made it look in the SEC.

He’s a guy I keep forgetting about, but he could definitely factor into the top 10.

Draft is probably going to be more boring than fans want. No trades before #5? Plus I don't think any trades happen before the Draft starts....and prepare to be uncomfortable with any comp Minnesota uses to move up, if they can/do.

Overnight, the latest crap: Vikings are fine with Nix if they can't move up, Las Vegas tried to move up to #2, etc. The rumors don't go gently into that dark night.

I would say the latest crap is just that.

I agree, the top 4 are probably set..

Caleb
Daniels
Maye
WR (edit)

Do they love JJ enough to move up to 5-8? Thats fertile turf for MN and other trade-up teams for whomever that QB 4 is.

That's the first part of the question. The second part is are they willing to give up the draft capital necessary to move up to 5 - 8.

I don’t know about the Vikings Nix speculation other than they spent a lot of time with him, but the Raiders news is most likely legit.

The Raiders dream scenario is Jayden Daniels. Their coach has a connection to him from his Arizona State days. I have little doubt they will keep trying to make that happen, but I’ll be shocked if Washington comes off that pick. Two other names I’ve seen Raiders interested in are the aforementioned Nix and that they are really high on Penix. If we stay at 11, this may factor.
