Vikings never in on Flacco?

Was it Vikings or bust for Rodgers?

REPORT: Aaron Rodgers is more likely to retire than sign with a team that's not a Super Bowl contender, per CBS' @AKinkhabwala.

The Steelers are the favorites to sign the veteran QB but have not heard an update since meeting on March 21 ?

I don't think anybody is real excited about the Tannehill possibility and the free agency cupboard is bare at this point.

Flacco probably wanted to sign right away and that wasn't in the cards for the Vikings, who need to wait until after the draft. Levis and Richardson are not options. We passed on Levis the year we needed a QB. Almost no chance we bring him in now. Richardson, despite being a near bust, would still draw far too much in trade for us to consider. And he doesn't really qualify as the veteran experience KOC is likely looking for.

I think our backup QB is either Rodgers, Cousins or Tannehill and it doesn't happen until training camp.

I think he would be signed now then. But maybe he told them he'd sign in time for camp, didn't want to do OTAs.

Then why sign him?  Him not knowing the O at all,  and not coming into the mix until the last minute makes him of very little use as a back up IMO.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I don't think Tannehill is in any hurry to sign with anyone. He didn't even play last year. I don't think the Vikings are in any hurry either.
