Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - purplefaithful - 11-20-2017 Teddy Bridgewater's return will happen, and it will be emotional and inspiring. Until then, let's all relax and enjoy this unexpected infusion that Case Keenum has provided the Vikings. The Great Quarterback Debate can be put to rest. At least for this week, please? The Case vs. Teddy hysteria that has divided Vikings-land should be a non-talker after Sunday’s 24-7 dismantling of the Los Angeles Rams at U.S. Bank Stadium. Debating who should start at quarterback right now is a waste of time and just seems silly. Case Keenum not only is playing winning football, he’s scripting one of the best stories in the NFL after improving to 6-2 as a starter (7-2 if counting his win over the Chicago Bears in relief). Teddy Bridgewater’s return to competition will happen someday, and it will be emotional and inspiring. Until then, let’s all relax and enjoy this unexpected infusion that Keenum has provided the offense with his go-for-broke attitude. “It’s going to be hard to yank him out of there right now,” coach Mike Zimmer acknowledged. http://www.startribune.com/case-keenum-debate-should-be-put-to-rest/458703173/ Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 Luck, skill, magic, who cares? Keenum is a hoot to watch. He keeps slinging passes on the run and making an occasional risky throw as if he has all the job security in the world. That’s a credit to him sticking to his style and not playing tight or cautious. “We love the way he plays the game,” Thielen said. “He plays with a lot of passion.” And confidence. Lots of confidence. Keenum’s comfort level with his receivers, his line and Pat Shurmur’s scheme seems to improve with each game. His 28-yard completion to tight end Kyle Rudolph up the seam in double coverage was perfectly placed, and it showed his trust level in Rudolph. That’s just one example. http://www.startribune.com/case-keenum-debate-should-be-put-to-rest/458703173/ Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 Keenum has made it impossible for the team to give up on him by how well he has directed the offense in relief of Sam Bradford. He has become a fascinating story. Keenum made another statement Sunday, to his former team and to those who still thought the Vikings needed a quarterback change. http://www.startribune.com/case-keenum-debate-should-be-put-to-rest/458703173/ Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 A-f******-men! I love TB and his story, but Case has something special with this WR corps. It's his team! Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 Yup, ride the Case train as long as he continues to hold it together (and I'm not rooting for him to come apart). I'm a self admitted Teddy Bobo, but you don't fix what ain't broke. Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 I guess nobody disagrees much with this anymore...Alrighty then, we're grabbing hands and singing Kumbaya for as long as this train keeps chugging forward with Keenum. Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 There never should have been a debate but if Case is performing this well under the "debate" let's keep the debate going. Maybe that's why Zimmer is keeping it rolling? Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 The lions will get smoked Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 Quote: @Ilovebigtd's said: I've heard that Keenum will be exposed during the next game for about 4 or 5 weeks in a row now. Case Keenum debate should be put to rest - Guest - 11-20-2017 I lost my old account and just kinda read articles on here without creating a new one. I love that where winning and i support anything Zimmer does with our team. Case is playing good with a great team around him. The oline allows no sacks. The receivers are now experienced and in their prime. The RB are great. The Defense is the best in the NFL. Its very very hard not to do good in the situation. The team he played for and failed at last year is 7-3 this year. it's been fun seeing us win like we are. |
