Obamacare costs for 2018 - AGRforever - 11-03-2017
The "Affordable Care" market place is open so for 2018 so I thought I'd
do some due diligence and see what the premiums would be. Keep in mind
we're using Samaritan Ministries a Christian network which is $495/month
with a $300/per incident deductible but is technically not insurance.
My family is 4 members. I'm 36 my wife is similar and my kids are in grade school.
TN Bronze Plan: $1,280/mo $15,360/yr $11,300 Deductible, $13,300 Max out of pocket
TN Silver Plan: $1,836/mo $22,032/yr $5,000 Deductible, $12,000Max out of pocket
TN Silver Plan2: $2,407/mo $28,884/yr $500 Deductible, $14,000Max out of pocket
TN Gold Plan: $2,749/mo $32,988/yr $3000 Deductible, $10,200Max out of pocket
The gold plan is more than our mortgage, private school for 2 children and property taxes combined.
