2026 Free Agency and Draft: RB - MaroonBells - 02-17-2026 I think I'd add Wake Forest's Demond Claiborne to this list linked below. This class doesn't have the depth of last year's class, but right now it seems there are 7 RBs that I'd be pretty happy with: Love, Price, Coleman, Johnson, Washington, Claiborne and Singleton. While I loved Singleton the first time I put him on (he's the best physical specimen in this class) his poor final season does cause some concern. Still, unless we bring back Aaron Jones, and I doubt we do, we need a starter on day one, so I think this could be a position where we tap into the free agency market. Breece Hall, Travis Etienne and Kenneth Walker III all free agents, with Etienne the most likely to hit the market IMO. https://youtube.com/shorts/SG2o8GS_NJg?si=jv0ga4OyijBISGVh RE: 2026 Free Agency and Draft: RB - Knucklehead - 02-17-2026 (02-17-2026, 12:27 PM)MaroonBells Wrote: I think I'd add Wake Forest's Demond Claiborne to this list linked below. One of the announcers during the SB mentioned that Walker while a very good runner was lacking as a pass receiver & blocker. I doubt that would make him a fit in the KOC offense. RE: 2026 Free Agency and Draft: RB - StickierBuns - 02-17-2026 I'll be very interested to do a deep dive on the RBs before the Draft. RE: 2026 Free Agency and Draft: RB - purplefaithful - 02-17-2026 Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Seahawks are unlikely to use their franchise tag on Walker entering an offseason in which they have several key free agents to try retaining as they look to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles. The estimated franchise tag value for running backs in 2026 is $14.5 million. Seattle does project to have $63.6 million in cap space this offseason. RE: 2026 Free Agency and Draft: RB - dadevike - 02-18-2026 My favorite RB in the draft other than Love is Jadarian Price. I expect he goes as high as Rd 2. I like Emmett Johnson too. While not as deep as last year's class, there are several good RBs in this class. For a very late pick, check out Robert Henry Jr from UTSA. I would love to get him in the 6th or 7th. Couple things I don't like about him is that he's not much of a pass protector, plus he'll spend some time dancing and juking looking for the big play instead of just moving the chains. True, Johnson is not very good in pass pro. But that is generally the case with high end backs coming out of college. Claiborne is not good at pass pro either. Neither is Price. Love is one of the better backs in pass pro, but I am assuming he will be gone by 18. |
