I think that as well, but I am also of the novice opinion that Barr should NEVER have been a stand up player. They should have done the same thing Floyd Peters did with Chris Doleman. Put Barr's hand in the dirt at RDE rushing the blindside of the QB and he might have gone down with the greats at DE. Oh the what ifs eh Jimmy?

I think Barr did so much for the Zimmer D, which was pretty amazing before he had to run the minimart DBs out there. Barr covered so much territory, took away so much field, but by that he didn't get as many splashy plays and doesn't get the respect he deserves.
