...except of course JJ and Donovan Jackson. So not horrible from an injury standpoint, just need Brandel to not be a complete shit show.

Outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel was among five players held out of Thursday’s practice. Van Ginkel, who is dealing with “residual” neck issues stemming from this summer’s injury, according to coach Kevin O’Connell, has not yet practiced this week. He played eight snaps against the Bengals. He was expected to make the trip to Dublin on Thursday night.

Steelers have TJ Watt and Cameron Heyward on a pretty good front seven. Derrick Harmon hasn't really played well for them yet.
I like Brandel to hold his own. He's playing well in spot duty this year with an 85 pass blocking grade. He doesn't have Donovan Jackson's upside, but he might actually be a bit of an upgrade in some situations. He's definitely more experienced and probably less prone to mental errors. Jackson had a few against the Falcons. But then who didn't?
Honestly, Turner replacing Gink and Brandel replacing Jackson is about as good as it gets on the injury/depth front.

Darrisaw is the most critical return. I agree with MB that Turner can acquit himself well substituting for Gink.
And if you look at Darrisaw's temp replacement last year after his injury...OMG. Brandel is so much better than that sieve.

Residual neck issues from an injury that happened months ago seems somewhat concerning. Hope he's able to get back to full strength.

Cashman's still out. Last time Cashman and AVG were both out it led to 218 rushing yards for Atlanta. Can we go one damn week without losing someone else?

Don't love it, but if you look around the league its kind of crazy how many teams have it worse. Green Bay might be without 3 starting offensive linemen against the Cowboys as an example.

Really need to see Turner step up his edge contain, he seems to get sucked inside on his rush to easy.
