I mean, we are certainly in the market for a receiver, but does anybody see it being a big trade acquisition? I certainly don't and Tom P doesn't think we want to add big salary cap dollars in acquiring that receiver.

That unfortunately only confirms my suspicions. I've never found Pelissero to be much of a source, more like a regurgitator of what's already known or obvious, or a peddler of b.s. like Aaron Rodgers in purple is nearly a done deal.

I don't see anything close to blockbuster status, but it makes for engagement I suppose. Addison is back after 3 games, why would they do a blockbuster deal? Everyone clamoring for Thielen, but he turned 35 years old today. Other than nostalgia, what's his tank status like? Nothing close to full, without a doubt. Smells like a Viking overpay for comp type thing regardless, unless the team where the guy comes from was going to be cut anyway and they'd rather get a 6th or 7th round pick instead of nothing. I'd be fine with that. Some teams are loaded.
I think zero doubt a move will be made to sign a cutdown guy or low-comp trade at the WRer spot.

I think the kind of receiver we add depends on the severity of Nailor's injury. And they're being very cryptic about that.
