Latest on AD - DeepFreeze05 - 06-19-2025 RE: Latest on AD - JR44 - 06-19-2025 This is really sad, to see one of the all time best running backs and Vikings in a place like this playing poker and then getting into a fight. Everyone makes mistakes and you would have hoped he would have learned from his, but continues to do one after another. Luckily he was a better RB than fighter, not sure what the heck is doing there or how some goof ball is getting some jabs in on him. RE: Latest on AD - greediron - 06-19-2025 Must have really need that win. RE: Latest on AD - Waterboy - 06-19-2025 He got tko’d by Le’veon Bell a few years back. I can see why now. Lol RE: Latest on AD - JimmyinSD - 06-20-2025 He is not a very bright person, not sure poker or anything that requires more than luck should be his gambling vice....he's more of a pull tab guy IMO. RE: Latest on AD - comet52 - 06-20-2025 If only he had any bread left, he'd walk a mile for a camel, one that he could ride around on. RE: Latest on AD - ArizonaViking - 06-20-2025 Probably see AD standing in front of a judge a few times before it's all said and done... RE: Latest on AD - Zanary - 06-20-2025 After a LOT of counseling and psychiatric work, he'd be a perfect successor to PacMan for lecturing incoming NFL rookies on money, bad decisions, mental states.... RE: Latest on AD - pattersaur - 06-20-2025 No idea if this applies here or not, but financial stress has caused many people from all walks of life to spiral. Hopefully AD's doing okay or if not, can get there. I'd like to see him around the Vikings org for a long time. He earned that on the field imo. I think I can say that we all were hopeful that AD's legacy would be a positive one, following the path of other former Vikings from Alan Page to Scott Studwell, Chuck Foreman, Tommy Kramer and others who have been visible in the community and have been contributors. Instead, there was the embarassment of "Switchgate", where he beat his little boy with a tree branch to the point of bleeding. Since then, it has been a series of disappointments in him as a human being. I watch highlights of him running in those early years. I don't recall any other running back running with such beat down ferocity. He was a force then, he tried to hang around too long, and he made bad decision after bad decision. The whole AD storyline, since those early seasons, has been fraught with disappointment, both from a declined physical ability and a personal behavior standpoint. |
