Vikings didn't seem concerned about taking a RB - StickierBuns - 04-26-2025 Not surprising to me, although some on the board thought it was a foregone conclusion. I think someone even wanted to bet me they would draft a RB?? ![]() We've got Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason, Chandler and the Hammer. We're good. Get your stud RB next year with that first or second round pick. Every year there's going to be drool worthy RBs in the Draft. I expect them to go there next year. I think some might be surprised by how effective the run game is with a much better interior line. p.s. I still like Maul of America best. RE: Vikings didn't seem concerned about taking a RB - Mattyman - 04-26-2025 Vikings had no short yardage run game last year Mason solves that. the cost to acquire Mason plummeted because niners had no leverage due to draft depth at rb. RE: Vikings didn't seem concerned about taking a RB - Vanguard83 - 04-26-2025 An aggressive mauling OL will make all the difference. I want big bodied, road grading, mouth breathers RE: Vikings didn't seem concerned about taking a RB - purplefaithful - 04-26-2025 No they did not prioritize RB nearly what I thought they would. Maybe not at #1 but later. I think they only signed one UDFA Rb too. They must be happy with the stable now and have lots of guys on speed dial if needed. Not surprising they didn't take a running back. I think someone even wanted to bet me they would draft a RB?? I dunno. The Great Wall of St Paul has the onomatopoeia factor, no? We’re 1 injury away from Ty Chandler being an important cog in our offense. Are you comfortable with that because I’m sure as fuck not. Revamped OL notwithstanding he’s just not good. You can one injury away every position. If RB was so important on their list, it would have been addressed. Oh wait, it was in free agency. RE: Vikings didn't seem concerned about taking a RB - StickierBuns - 04-27-2025 Yes, thank you....a trade for Mason. My bad. Same idea. Vikings must have agreed as they chose no RB in the Draft. |
