Looking at a post of all the remaining QBs for the Vikings to select for QB2 and none of those names were appealing, except one did jump out at me as intruiging.

Marioto would be one of the last guys I’d call tbh. Didn’t he quit midseason after getting benched a couple years ago in Atlanta? No thanks.
Flacco, Jones, Keenum stick out to me. Stick would be a nice QB3 to have.

As I said in another thread, out of the names available I think Flacco would be great for JJ McCarthy. As far as if the backup actually had to play, I'd like Mac Jones and see if KOC could "Darnold" him into becoming productive

Mac Jones has a lot of comments on his locker room dynamic. Doesn't sound like a culture fit with our young QB. Minshew would be better in a supporting role, you know the Uncle Rico role.

Hendon Hooker might be available for minimal compensation. But I’d want someone who started and won games.
Mike White could be interesting.
Minshew could thrive.
