We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - JustInTime - 03-11-2025 Detroit: Proven QB and Gibbs are major advantages. Trade up and get Jeanty or land Hampton and that gap closes rapidly. OL is probably a push now. WRs, please. Front 7 definitely in our favor. CB, us. Safety, them easily. Losing Aaron Glenn probably wrecks that potential D. Eagles: Same deal for QB and RB. OL, they have the edge but not as glaring. WRs, again us. Front 7 is a slight edge for the Eagles. CB is them, S a push. Rams: QB them, RB push depending on draft. OL us. WRs us. Front 7 push. Secondary us. Commanders: QB them for now. RB us, OL us. Front 7 us. DBs us. I’ve got to think FA is done. Gaps will need to be further closed or enhanced by the draft and June 1 cuts. Barron, Jeanty, Harmon, a stud LG… RE: We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - Zanary - 03-11-2025 (03-11-2025, 10:12 AM)JustInTime Wrote: Detroit: Proven QB and Gibbs are major advantages. As long as A-a-ron doesn't fill the backup QB spot, I'm good with things. KOC needs to draft like he works FA, and he'd be our best GM in agaes. RE: We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - purplefaithful - 03-11-2025 I'd put us right in that 2nd tier again - below the Eagles/Lions. I just gotta give those teams the nod when it comes to stopping the pass and their running games are top notch. JJM such an unknown. But if he can come through we're right there in that next tier with Rams, Packers, Commanders and I think SF bounces back in 25 too. Qb2 is our biggest hole and we could use another db. Really wanted Reed, but that might have meant no Fries. RE: We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - StickierBuns - 03-11-2025 We have but the unknown is JJ McCarthy. The benefit of his injury is he's going to know that playbook very well and his natural talent should shine a lot more often than it would have last season. He'll still take a few lumps as its kind of a redshirt rookie year. But there are zero limitations with him in the offense: he's got the arm and the legs to make things tough on a D. The team has improved around him since last year. I expect KOC to gameplan a great strategy for success for McCarthy, but we won't be able to get past a few bumps as its his first time starting in the NFL. But the lights aren't too bright for him and he's got that 'it' factor. RE: We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - JustInTime - 03-11-2025 The biggest gap is Gibbs and Barkley. We’re outclassed here. Our D mitigates that to a certain extent. Go get Hampton and figure out a way to land Savion Williams. WR/RB/Wildcat QB/KR all in a 6-5 220lbs 4.4 running Swiss Army knife. Do it Kwesi. Do it like I’m a make a wish kid. RE: We’ve Closed The Gap On The NFC - purplefaithful - 03-11-2025 (03-11-2025, 10:26 AM)JustInTime Wrote: The biggest gap is Gibbs and Barkley.
