Murphy Re-Signs - JustInTime - 03-10-2025 A little bit of an overpay but not terrible considering the timing. Gives #24 selection options. RE: Murphy Re-Signs - Bullazin - 03-10-2025 I wanted a true #1 but looks like it wasn’t to be. He was a pro bowl level player so if it shakes out more like 2/35, I can deal with it RE: Murphy Re-Signs - JustInTime - 03-10-2025 Definitely need to see the structure. Not at all surprising to overpay. Allen’s money will probably make this look like a deal. RE: Murphy Re-Signs - Kentis - 03-10-2025 Murphy is one of four cornerbacks in the NFL since 2019 to amass at least 350 tackles and 14 interceptions. RE: Murphy Re-Signs - StickierBuns - 03-11-2025 Big money, but not much to be done other than get him back regardless. Thin, thin area of the team. Need Murphy and Blackmon to be healthy this year. RE: Murphy Re-Signs - MaroonBells - 03-11-2025 A little unsettling IMO. But the Vikings didn't really have a choice. They had to sign multiple corners and at least one of them had to be a proven starter. After Reed and Ward were signed the Vikings had to give Murphy full market. Funny that it's exactly what it was projected to be. Good player, happy to have him back. Just not worth $22M, when you consider Ward went for $20M and Reed $16M. |
