Well, no other Viking's QB since 1977 has done it, so I'm all for giving him a shot.
The nice thing about JJM is he's got all the physical attributes you'd want in a modern NFL QB and he's a winner. Fingers crossed he can be The Man for the next 10+ years. An original draft pick by the team that becomes a franchise QB, sure sounds nice....but nobody knows until he starts and plays.
