OT Trans Ban in women sports - AGRforever - 01-15-2025

The GOP and 2 democrats advanced a bill that requires you to compete in the gendered sport you were born in. As a HS XC coach. Thank God, even if the price of eggs doesn't go down next week (insert laugh) this is a good move.

There shouldn’t be a shit show. This is soooo common sense. Thank God my daughters won’t compete against biological males. They’ll be out of High school before this can get changed back.

It shouldn’t be. Sports are built upon the idea that they are fair. People are welcome to be whoever they want to be but people who are former men competing against the women gives them an unfair and unjust advantage.

It should be because we know ahead of time that things will likely be said that are offensive to some board members that a have personal/familial connection to the trans community. Most would be respectful in their responses, but we know many cannot and as such I preferred to move it over here instead of it having to be in the face of those that we call brother or sister and causing them unnecessary hurt.
