RE: MN Legislator Murdered - purplefaithful - 06-29-2025 We have to remember that he actually went to 4 homes that evening, but only found people present at two of the 4. F'er had a hell of a plan cooking that night. So, I dont know if he went narrowly at those who crossed ideologies re: undocumented health care coverage. I think its broader and I think there's a nationalist/religious bend to this that'll ultimately be uncovered. Like i said, I think there's more than just a wing nut. Also I dont see the right wing connection, but either way, he deserves the worst your laws can give him. As nuts as people are nowadays, it could be someone targeting people on their side to implicate the opposite side. I am more compelled to say it’s someone who’s mentally ill and paranoid who can’t read life sanely at this point. And he should get due process and then like you said up to and including the death penalty which is likely off the table I believe even with fed charges? RE: MN Legislator Murdered - JimmyinSD - 06-30-2025 OK, found some more on the guy.... right wing wing nut that spent to much time in the rabbit hole the way it sounds. I am going to guess that since his longtime friends say he wasnt overly political, but more recent stuff says otherwise... that he got himself radicalized/brain washed/ however you want to put it, coupled with financial struggles and he snapped. Yeah, I started there as well, but with more time it became evident he was targeting the left. I feel the vitriol of the left far exceeds the right, but there are wingnuts on both sides. At the end of the day, these fringe people are just nuts and they're the ones that act. The media doesn't help and people really need to compartmentalize a little bit. Any which way, these people need to be held accountable. RE: MN Legislator Murdered - badgervike - 07-14-2025 Guess it might not be as plain and simple as some believe. Sounds like he could be just batshit crazy.. I think the fact that he's bat shit crazy is pretty universally accepted. I won't discount that he could be an anti-abortion loon, but to your point we can't assume loony people think rationally. I will also say there are a lot more mental issues and depression on the left which leads to more loons in total from that political ideology. Lol, everything is through a political prism with you...Hell, there are plenty of good souls out there, regardless of their political bend. So conservatives are more mentally and emotionally stable? Where'd you find that golden nugget? I suspect there's just as many people dealing with mental health issues across the aisle, at CPAC and in red rural communities as there are on the blue side of things. Now, if you were to tell me that the Dems are more racially and culturally diverse and some of those population groups have higher levels of depression and mental health issues? That might be something - but I'm grasping at straws here. As far as Boelter goes, the guy is a loony tune. Lock him up for life, throw the key away and take away the microphones too. EDIT: I see PF beat me to it. |
