I think he meant that Sam had all the talent in the world, not that he's been surrounded by all the talent in the world.

You got it NGB. Even if the sleeves supporters want to make excuses for his lack of supporters (which I will agree with), I will not give the guy excuses for his lack of scoring ability and the fact that the guy just doesn't have the "clutch-gene." Any time we (or any team he has been on) needs that last first down, score, or whatever, Sleeves is more likely to throw it short, throw the INT, or simply continue to play conservative than make that needed play. He just doesn't seem to find it or the needed spark like Culpepper, Favre, or Teddy could.

Although Bradpool only had 5 INTs last year, when he threw them cost us 3 games (Det, Det, and Was). The guy would be best if he was playing 7 on 7 and couldn't get hit.

So, it depends on the philosophy. If we want to get much better in the run game, Easton may take over the job. But I don't see it happening just yet.

Not to be a contrarian but Boone played well last week and was much much better then Easton who did not play well after I rewatched. Also PFF gave Easton one of our poorest grades so they saw his misses like I did. On his very first snap at LG and Hill's first at LT both whiffed forcing Bradford to loop out of the pocket and do that illegal toss to Murray that was called back. Easton had a couple more whiffs before the quarter was even over.
I read that article by AJ mansour and he tries to make it sound as if Boone was pulled out early and Easton put in. Boone got the same snaps as Reiff and we pulled them together, slide Easton to LG and put Elflein in at Center. The Right side remained the same with Berger and Remmers.
After watching the game again - specifically the OL play - I fully expect Elflein to be the starting Center asap. Easton will be a backup for LG and Center. Berger is starting at RG.

Damn....how many draft picks do the Browns have next year? NFL would be smart to hold the draft in Cleveland in 2018.
