RE: Here we go.... JJM in 'concussion protocol', Brosmer time? - Zanary - 11-24-2025 Will Brosmer be the "Purdy" of the Minnesota Vikings, giving a big-time hometown underdog story that could eclipse even that of Adam Thielen? Stay Tuned, for the continuing story of "Why the Purple People Can't Sleep"...! RE: Here we go.... The 49'er fans have a royal history and get nice things.... We don't unfortunately. I blame the elders in my family for influencing a poor kid - into the curse of being a fan of this franchise lol! Trouble is, I think JJ bought in to all the coach speak. Perhaps the Vets filtered out some of that garbage and took the obvious good that KOC brings to the QB coaching. But JJ went all in and has scrambled his brain, mechanics and everything trying to be the perfect pupil. Rewiring just meant developing muscle memory. RE: Here we go.... I just feel like a lot of people are treating it as if he said he was heading to the jungle to do ayahuasca or had to get his chakras realigned or something. RE: Here we go.... Nah, just that with his struggles, it is really a bad look for KOC now. RE: Here we go.... JJM in 'concussion protocol', Brosmer time? - purplefaithful - 11-24-2025 Brosmer was 35-of-58 for 364 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in the preseason. “Ton of confidence in Max,” O’Connell said. “All he’s done since he’s been here is show up every single day and respond and answer the bell, whether it’s stepping in for some reps when guys were dinged up previously this year with the first group. … Ideally you’d love to have a bunch of runway for him to continue on his journey, but I know Max will prepare like crazy, like he does every week.” Should Brosmer start Sunday, the Seahawks defense on the road at Lumen Field would make for a difficult debut. Seattle has nine interceptions this year, four forced and recovered fumbles, and two fumble recovery touchdowns. The Seahawks are also fourth in the league in sacks with 36, and the Vikings could be without the entire starting left side of their offensive line. O’Connell did not have an update Monday on left tackle Christian Darrisaw (foot) and left guard Donovan Jackson (ankle), who both exited early from the Packers game. Besides Brosmer, the Vikings currently have only one other quarterback who could be available if McCarthy is not. They signed John Wolford to their practice squad Oct. 29, shortly after it was announced Wentz would have shoulder surgery. O’Connell said the Vikings will get Wolford “as many reps as possible” running the scout team, which Brosmer usually leads. He also said the team will “take a look” at getting Wolford elevated to the active roster for gameday. As for the possible addition of another quarterback, O’Connell said that the depth at various positions on the practice squad would be evaluated and that he believed General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s group would be looking at the situation, too. In other injury news, O’Connell said there was not yet an update on safety Josh Metellus, who finished Sunday’s game but made two trips to the sideline medical tent. O’Connell said outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, who missed his second straight game with a left shoulder injury, will work through the week again and they’ll “see how he does.” RE: Here we go.... So true, I felt oddly numb by the end of the Packers game RE: Here we go.... JJM in 'concussion protocol', Brosmer time? - comet52 - 11-24-2025 I thought he got concussed on a hit late in the game. His head got driven into the turf and he came up looking dazed. I was surprised he didn't get taken out but the game was mercifully nearly over at that point. I don't expect much from Max but I'm really happy to not have to watch JJM get thrown out there to fail again. There's no growth at all, he's regressing into literally the worst a guy can be. The HC has completely mishandled him as far as I'm concerned. RE: Here we go.... JJM in 'concussion protocol', Brosmer time? - Canthony - 11-24-2025 Well, the injury isn't fake. He bounced his head off the ground. Hock helped him and was slapping in his face after the play. I didn't understand how JJ wasn't taken out after the play. |
