The jets need a lot of help.... a rookie QB isn't anywhere near the top of that list IMO. If the Vikings have shown anything over the last quarter century... you can find a journeyman or free agent veteran to drive the Ferrari if you build one, you just need to bring in your rookie before that veteran crashes it into a tree. I'm more of the mindset that if a great QB prospect is available to you, that you should always take them. You just never know when that chance will come again, and only through the draft are you going to get one of those elite QBs that takes you to multiple SBs. I'd just be stacking OLine and Receivers if I were the Jets on any non-QB pick. That said, different ranking sites seem to think the Jets OLine is pretty ok RE: Trade deadline rumors - kmillard - 11-05-2025 (11-04-2025, 09:34 PM)medaille Wrote: I'm more of the mindset that if a great QB prospect is available to you, that you should always take them. You and Jimmy are both right. I do agree that if a QB looks like a potential great one you do have to take them. The way the 26 draft looks right now, I just don't know who that will be. In watching the various top prospects at the position this year it appears the ones I like could benefit from another year in school. Who knows though, the next Anthony Richardson could pop up sometime between now and April. RE: Trade deadline rumors - StickierBuns - 11-05-2025 The best trade Minnesota could make is getting guys back healthy, its all they need. Good no-show in the trade department for the team....it was pretty nuts. When NO can get a 4th & 5th for Rashid Shaheed & LV can get the same return for Jakobi Meyers then you're definitely looking at a sellers market. RE: Trade deadline rumors - greediron - 11-05-2025 Seems like every non-divisional team we face in the second half made some moves. Balt, Dallas, Seattle |
