RE: First time I've not had a strong "want" in the Draft - JustInTime - 03-23-2025 Read the above. Look at the attached video, particularly at the 2:40 mark. Let me know if you’re reminded of Troy Williamson at any point. If..BIG IF...he's a good bit smarter than CP, I'd want him on the team. I'm just saying...he seemed determined to avoid the best ways forward. He was recommended a trainer to help his WR skills early on, went with a fitness guru instead. Never seemed like a great route receiver, but was always an impressive improvisor; he was sort of lost until the ball got into his hands. He's still an amazing athlete, but he's largely been a ST specialist and a trick play guy since before he left the Vikings. Boyd would agree, and likely recommend some Semtex as part of the solution. They are now starting Jerry Tillary and don't have a pass rusher opposite Karlaftis. They also have an extra pick in the 3rd round, so to me that's the most logical if a lineman they covet drops to #24. If Dart is still on the board when we pick, I think a team that is picking at the top of the draft that passed on the first two guys, could be potentially be an ideal trade partner. Agreed, although the trend seems to be that he will be off the board by #24.. Maybe try to have opinions that are better supported and not so easily refuted? I believe I did with my Kyle Williams WR that may be better fit for this offense and stated things that support that. As for his hands and concentration, it's fair to say they just aren't good. Williamson was just simply on the Vikings and him not being able to catch every Viking fan will remember, hence the comparison. |
