Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-12-2017 Four scenarios as I see it: We are losing by a ton of points We are winning by a ton of points We have our playoff seed decided before the game Don't wanna type it...but an injury (God forbid) Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-12-2017 I'd love to see it because that means we have home-field locked up. Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-12-2017 Right now the Vikings front office are the only ones who have any idea how Teddy is doing. If they have faith in that knee and want to resign him, then why let anyone else see how much he has recovered? I think they are happy to keep rolling with Case and keep Teddy in the shadows. Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-12-2017 Honestly, I’d love to see Teddy get playing time. I think it would mean the Vikings have home field wrapped up or at least a first round bye. If it’s done because of that then the fan base would be behind it all the way. It would be nice to see him get some “just in case” snaps under his belt during the season and not just in practice. Unfortunately I don’t think this team is built to run up the score and get really comfortable enough to pull Case out. So, I think the game would have to be meaningless for him to get significant playing time. Also, if the game was meaningless, does that mean you sit a bunch of starters at that time and risk him getting hit because you pulled your starting OL? I’m glad I’m just a fan sometimes and not making those decisions. My understanding is that Philly owns the common opponents tie breaker, so we have to have a better record than them. Even if we win our next 2 and they lose their next 2, we'd still only get HFA by winning and Philly losing or tying or us tying and Philly losing. Both games are scheduled for noon CT, so we can't have HFA clinched. Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-13-2017 Giving Case 2 weeks off (with a first round bye) sounds like a bad idea. Anyone hoping to see Teddy get some game action? - Guest - 12-13-2017 Vikes have to have a conference record advantage, Philly would need to lose to 2 NFC teams. Bad game to crap the bed in Carolina.
