It was a super bowl roster back in the summer of 2016. That team was side railed by injuries to its QB (effectively replaced), it's offensive line and its running back (not effectively replaced).
Same basic roster with almost no injuries makes a huge difference.

One of the turnover issues is our O doesn't get in a shooting match putting up lots of points so the other team gets lulled into complacency trying to hold pace and steal it at the end----less desperate shots over the course of the game(less opportunities for our D)
