Great news.  Not ready to play of course, but a step in the right direction.

I agree.  I wouldn't expect game action until week 10 at least.  Teddy hasn't practiced for 14 months but it sure is nice to see his progress.

I’m interested to know what game, etc you think Bridgewater will be on the field as our QB. I am going with:

second half St Louis game. I think a win by Case in Washington will be tough and with that Rams D i dont think Zim can afford two losses in a row before a 3 game road trip. Teddy comes in after halftime to lead us to a victory.  Taking over the starting spot at QB

Courtney Cronin ESPN Staff Writer Bridgewater has been present in team meetings throughout the last 14 months. Zimmer said he is caught up on the playbook and receives the game script every week to run by himself. "He'll be ready," Zimmer said. "Teddy's smart."

Teddy is not going to get much work the week we travel to London will he?

Good for Teddy...Hell, he's beaten the odds whether he ever takes a live snap from center again or not.

Zimmer said the Vikings will ease Bridgewater back into the practice routine.
“He hasn’t practiced in 14 months,” Zimmer said, “so we’re not going to dose him out on Wednesday.”

Just getting this far he's beaten the odds.  Now as much as I love the guy, hopefully Case or even Bradford play so well that we don't need to see him in a game this year.

The earliest, and I mean absolute earliest, would be after the bye week. It'll depend how Keenum does with 2 winnable games against Baltimore and Cleveland upcoming. If the Vikings are 6-2 heading into the bye, they may ride him for the remainder of the year unless Bradford somehow mysteriously recovers.

I agree on the after the bye part,  however I don't think just the teams record should be considered at that point.  I think the QB play itself as well as the level of play seen from Sam or Teddy in practice should be the determining factor.

No way they park Keenum on the bench if he's winning games.....other than if Sam gets a miracle knee recovery. I'd wager they ride Keenum until he implodes and then look at Teddy....this also gives TB a longer time to get up to speed. I just don't see Bradford returning this season.

If the wheels start to come off Case's little wagon, let's get Bridgewater in there at some point later in the year.
