Makes me wonder what we would have gotten for Addison! Waddle is way more productive than Addison. Waddle’s fourth best season is about the same as Addison’s best season. Waddles got 3 1000 yard seasons to Addisons 0, although Addison has shined more in the TD front. Can’t really argue that it was just due to JJ, because Waddle had Hill. I’d imagine Addison would probably return an upper half of a second round pick or a lower second + a bonus pick. You’re not really trading for Addison to be the guy. At most he’s probably a 1B guy. Addison has done quite well when he has been forced to be the man though, sure playing opposite of JJ has its advantages, but how many of JJs targets would have went JAs way if Jets hadnt been 1A? I think Addison will do fine in a 1A role for somebody if given the chance, but playing behind Jets is likely hurting JAs stats more than they are helping them. I don't think anyone is trading a first for a guy who just had 600 yards and has never had 1000 yards. I think you'd rather take your chance in the draft. Do not think you can fairly count last season for Addison with him missing the first games and then having a QB who could not get back to him, but the two years before that he had 70 and 63 receptions for 875 and 911 yards and 19 total TDs. Do not think there is much of a drop-off between the two. His first two years were 1015 and 1356 yards for 14 TDs and his last two years were with scrambled Tua as a QB. I think I’ve invested too much time defending Waddle over Addison. Addison isn’t getting traded this year. Doesn’t really matter what his trade value is. KOC needs to prove he can QB whisper. He’s not getting rid of WR2 when we don’t even have a WR3. RE: Broncos trade for WRer Jaylen Waddle - RS_Express - 03-17-2026 So it boils down as: Denver: Waddle and #111 Miami: #30, #94, #130 Think of it as Miami getting #30 and #130 and moving #111 up to #94. Payton wants that SB shot with Nix on a rookie deal.
