Admittedly there's some hurdles to cross here hah. But the Saints want him gone so he'll be available. It will depend on the comp I guess.

From a PR perspective he's not Aaron Rodgers or a QB who's already played for us, so that's nice.

If he’s due a lot of money, they may just release him.

announce his desire to come back, if they dont want him they have to cut or trade him or his money hits their books, ( they already owe any already paid monies that were prorated out, but his final years unpaid money would be applied)  if they release him then he can hold his pro day,  if not he gets paid anyway.
