My complaint was always why did we trade for a player going into a contract year when the TE draft position group that year was the deepest it had been in some time? We paid him top dollar for the position prior to the injury. Detroit moved him because they didn't want to pay him and wanted to get younger at the position. They happily moved Hock and drafted LaPorta in the second round. He is slow and can't get open since the knee injury, and to make matters worse, he can't catch the ball. It's a shame, because he was really good when the Vikings got him. I love the guy, but it's a perfomance based league and he has to go. |
