Jets are going to have 3 first round draft picks and 2 second rounders next Spring....then 2 first rounders in 2027. Only KAM could mess that up.

I'm not up on the latest college QB chatter. Is there one or more coming out this year or next that'd be worth going crazy over?

The Jets’ asking price for Breece Hall is a third-round pick, per source.
Teams have yet to meet New York’s ask with just over an hour to go until the deadline.

The Jets are getting two first-round picks from the Colts, one in the 2026 draft, the other in the 2027 draft, plus wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in exchange for Gardner. And they're getting a second-round pick in 2026, a first-round pick in 2027 and defensive tackle Mazi Smith from the Cowboys for Williams, their defensive tackle.
5 first rounders ( so far) in the next 2 drafts... that has to have GM and HC candidates drooling.

Spielman can help them turn those 5 first round picks into 30-40 seventh rounders.

Yeah, I think it does two things beneficial for the jets.
First it helps give them more ammo to go after a QB and/or rebuild their team with draft picks.
Secondly, it helps prevent Aaron Glenn from accidentally winning some games in an already lost season. I don't think any coach/player really wants to tank, but the GM can help things along by getting rid of their good players. Also, they didn't really firesale the offense. For a rebuilding team, I think you really want to have as much of a foundation on offense still intact, but by all means get rid of the defense and worry about that later.
