Great wiggle and vision. Knew nothing about him before this game. Another great UDFA by Kwesi. Price is definitely dynamic. If he does a good job making decisions on what and what not to catch and prevents turnovers, he's the real deal in terms of elusiveness. RE: Impressed! - greediron - 09-09-2025 Van Ginkel, such an intelligent player. Read that screen and was looking for a pick 6 again. We are fortunate to have him, unreal instincts, there were 2-3 plays where he was so close to having another pick 6. RE: Impressed! - supafreak84 - 09-09-2025 A lot has been gone over already about the game last night but that took balls of steel coming back in that game led by our young quarterback. The early rust and struggles were not surprising considering McCarthy hadn't played real football in almost two years. Our running game really turned the tide for us and Mason and Jones were both impactful. New look offensive line got after it, and our defense was excellent against a tough Bears offense. The thing that excites me is, I think we are a really good team and we are going to be adding Harrison Smith, Christian Darrisaw and Jordan Addison to the mix over the next couple weeks. This just feels like we are heading towards a really special season. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but it just has that feeling like 98 or the Brett Favre year. Price was huge, he really helped us with field position all night and was right on the verge from breaking a few all the way. OL and DL also got into together in 2nd half which really flipped the game, everything was not coming so easy for them anymore, Williams was forced out of the pocket immediately on many plays. Love the way Mason runs, we have really missed that kind of power back and he also has some great quickness, definitely see him becoming the primary RB and think that will help Jones stay fresh. will be interesting to see what teams try to neutralize our DL, the more they bring in to help block, the more we can move into the box to get after them. It happened over 3 td's for me, but it did have a little Favre to Lewis in it didnt it? Today, I'm just glad we got the W, glad for how we got the W and hoping for the best re: Cashman. I mean to be honest, I read that play from my couch. But love having him on the team. |
