I’m a big fan of the idea that every team does 8 home games, 8 away games, and 1 neutral site game (which could be foreign, but also could be at some other stadium in the US, like maybe we play the Seahawks in Miami or something, or you could watch a Chiefs-Steelers game at USBank Stadium.)

I think the idea that half the teams get 9 home games and the other half get 8 home games is a pretty weird bias to have given how much advantage home field is.

Well, all the teams that have 9 home games are in the same conference. So there is no real advantage in the playoff seeds.

Agree.  If we're going to have neural site games, every team should have to play 1/17 somewhere on their schedule.  That way its as you said 8/8/1.

When we go to a 18 game season they need to figure out byes on those international games.  Not sure if you're better off having your bye before or after a trip.

Yes, last season the NFC had 9 home games and this season the AFC will have 9 home games.

It would! How great would it be to experience those two great cities and see your favorite team twice as well. Sounds like a dream vacation!

lol, reading some of the replies and tweets on Twitter.....fans are nuts, honest to God. Of all teams. So dramatic. Every day there's a four alarm fire in fandom online. Now the team is 'moving to London' and the 'NFL wants this'.... Wink

I don't know what these fans would do if they couldn't bait other team's fans with shit, there would be massive holes in their lives lol.

Interesting potential side stories to these games,   will Rogers be the Steelers QB in Dublin... how about that followed up with Cousins in London with the Browns?
