Curious how this affects the Saints cap situation. I remember reading that his cap hit in '26 was $69 million. Even discarding next year's actual salary, if all the prorations on next year's cap accelerate to this season, ouch.

Yep. Same age as Trevor Lawrence, who's already played 4 seasons in the NFL.
