This rumor is just as real as Pelissero and Rapaport telling you every day for 6 weeks up til last Friday that Darnold was signing a big contract with the Vikings.

So I can't say this strongly enough: Minnesota is 'all in' on JJ McCarthy. They believe strongly in his aptitude and chances for top shelf success. KOC wanted his new QB toy still in the wrapper and they saw everything they needed to see last year before he got injured.
The rest is white noise from the sports news cycle running hot.
